The
scale model of the house shown was created from supplied architectural
elevations drawn in 1/4"=1'-0" scale. It was constructed
using illustration board, chip board and foam-core materials and mounted
to a rigid foam board base. External features such as bricks, clapboard,
shingles and stone façades were created in Adobe Illustrator and are
accurately depicted in scale and color to match material specifications.
Windows and doors trim and other details were drawn and combined to
create full color artwork.
These
customized files were printed on a deskjet color printer and laminated
to the model surface. Site features such as stone wall, driveway,
patio, front steps and shrubbery were added.The cost involved in producing
